‘Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass…It’s about learning to dance in the rain.’ – Vivian Greene
It is quite known a fact that MMC has a program through which their agents go to different cities in USA for what they call a ‘Regional Rally’, and help people from there, who are also interested in becoming agents for MMC, developing current teams – to get a grasp about what they are to do next.
This month, CEO Aaron, accompanied by Andrei, chose Georgia as their next target. Before this ‘Rally’, they always try to do a community service, thus this month they planned to share commodities at a local Pregnancy Center. I am going to tell you about their trip to Georgia not only because of their unique and genuine aim at helping people, but also because while in Georgia, they successfully faced some particular difficulties.
My dear friends, what Georgia had in store for Andrei and Aaron, they had not the foggiest idea! It goes without saying that Georgia had a freakish weather, though they did not expect such a heavy snow to cross their path! They rented a standard car. Lucky for them, the lady who was on duty that day offered them the much needed car to survive Georgia!…frankly, only when she saw the 7ft CEO Aaron! Without it, men wouldn’t have carried out their purpose, but…even so, who would have known that everything closes in Georgia when snow strikes? Given the circumstances, their rally would be over before it even started! So, what did they do?
Gladly, the most amazing idea dawned on Aaron at that time! Since the local facilities closed and our guys got a 4×4, which Aaron thinks of as a ‘gift from God’, they started to look for the silver lining and, to be honest, the bright side looked on them too! So the next thing they do is pick up 5 brilliant agents and with 5 shopping carts they got out of the supermarket, willing to give the needy all over the city a helping hand! So they did!
‘Today has been a very humbling day. We were supposed to have a MMC Rally for agents here in Jasper. But instead, we spent the day paying it forward. We went to Wal-Mart to buy some things to donate, then went to the Pickens County Animal Shelter and dropped off dog/cat beds, blankets, treats, etc. Then we went to ACES Youth Home and gave the kids some drones and food/snacks, in exchange for the kiddos writing Christmas cards for the elderly. Now, we’re going to a church in Ellijay to donate blankets, water & snacks etc for the Homeless, then going to Grandview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center to visit the elderly to give them Christmas cards, stockings & Santa hats and to sing a few songs with them.
This has truly been one of the best days of the year for me.’, says Megan Leann Voyles, MMC Top Sales agent.
The most wonderful things come unexcpectedly! In this case, not only did they manage to have the rally while in the car, but by their inovative idea, they also inspired others, along with helping them!
What MMC agents are really looking for is building relationships, not only online, and what they succeeded in was creating this movement which breathed new life into people around MMC; agents and their families started from helping the nursery homes to donating money! Therefore, what started as a flight to the ‘Regional Rally’ in Georgia, ended as a movement that inspired many people who teamed up and are now part of the group called ‘The 12 Miracles of Christmas’! And finally, you readers get to understand the link between this blog and the quote above, this because what CEO Aaron and Andrei want to do is help us get through the storms in life, as they did last month in Georgia!
This is a sole proof of the willingness of humble and highly intended people to help and spread love in this world! We can all follow suit and, why not, team up with them and get to live peacefully among others!
