They say if you want to change the world; think globally, start locally. Because of his vision and ability to create long term solutions- Mr. Landry has successfully built not one but two training programs at the Delgado Maritime and San Jacinto Maritime College. "I have always been so passionate about educating and developing mariners- it was only natural that I work with Delgado and San Jacinto to help them develop training programs to help put people to work in a industry that provides so much for people from all walks of life." Landry Kirk sat on the advisory boards of these schools and worked directly with them to develop the programs to put people in the New Orleans and Houston area communities to work. These programs allowed eager students to enter the industry without any prior experience.
Since then, Landry Kirk has proudly accepted VP of Corporate Operations at My Mini Casa. Mr. Landry connected to Aaron Peterson on LinkedIN after seeing My Mini Casa, Bulk Container Group, Ozinga, & Ingram team up to change the container on barge industry. Aaron later posted about needing specialists in recruiting & HR to help with massive growth and expertise needed. After the 'getting to know you' phase, Landry was hired and now sits on the advisory board. The company is pleased to welcome Landry into this prestigious role and utilize his expertise in their future plans moving into the new year. Mr. Peterson says that, "Mr. Kirk is a visionary and has a wealth of knowledge needed for what's to come at My Mini Casa in the future. Someone who is focused on building both teams and people is exactly what we need and what that post was meant for. That is the power of your network and creating the content that draws people to you. We look forward to Mr. Kirk and working closely to help him succeed in his role."
My Landry graduated in Supply Chain Management and Marketing from Southeastern Louisiana University.
